How can you organize your desk with materials on-hand?

During the Covid shutdown I needed to create a new deskspace in my small room. I designed this stand to use a  minimal surface area and constructed it with materials I had available at home.

Form and function

The stand is made from laser-cut MDF and cloth. The MDF board provides a sturdy base for the laptop, and the cloth material provides scratch-free surface. The configuration also helps reduce computer temperature.

The solution enabled me to fit my laptop next to my monitor and have room for other accessories.
